Curated by Gianluca Longo, Vases and Vessels celebrates the diversity and talent in the contemporary decorative arts scene. Through an exquisite selection of works by ten artists and designers, the exhibition will stage a rare opportunity to discover an array of influences, materials and styles, ranging from fruit-shaped vases to monumental vessels Venetian glassware and colourful, geometric forms.
New works showing at London’s David Gill Gallery include an intricate, porcelain sculpture by Beth Katleman, whose pieces can be found in Dior’s New Bond Street flagship store; a new edition of Narcissus vases by product designer Tino Seubert, made of Parsol glass and terrazzo; and bold, playful pieces by Domitilla Harding. In addition are works presented by Kate Malone, Marcantonio Brandolini d’Adda, Tommaso Corvi- Mora, Tancredi di Carcaci, Felicity Aylieff, Cody Hoyt and Lena Peters. Vases and Vessels opens on 22 November and runs until 5 December.
